summer exhibition 2012

....this exhibition showcases a selection of works by gallery artists who have exhibited with us during 2011 as well as some newcomers. Paintings, photographs, etchings, limited edition prints as well as sculpture and glass are all on show.

'stairway to heaven' - leone harris (mixed media - 105x206 cm diptych) 

 Artists include photographer Thomas Ives, who has worked with National Geographic, Time and Newsweek magazines. Gallery artist Greg Hyde has some wonderful, quirky and thought provoking paintings and drawings. New to the gallery from Sydney is Victorian born artist Leone Harris. Harris majored in figurative drawing in Melbourne in 1985 and her strong colour develops movement and thick texture, creating an interpretation of force and rhythm.

  Classical realism works by Berrima artist Philip Turton and a large landscape painted in the '80's by Glen Preece are also featured in this exhibition.

'the grove' - glen preece (oil on canvas - 152 x 152cm)

Sculptures by Stephen Coburn and Annie Herron, glass by Nicole Ayliffe and fine woodwork from Brad Moss (Tasmania) and Henrik Lund (Copenhagen) complete this eclectic show.
