Corinne Laird
MUSICA. BOTANICA. EQUUS
.
A collection of recent works by Australian artist Corinne Laird, exploring music, botany and the equine form. The artist utilises a diverse range of mediums including painting, collage and photography. In a culmination of colour, shape and form, Corinne Laird’s bold abstractions of nature provide a profound viewing experience.

29 May - 30 June Greg Hyde
RECENT WORKS

Greg works in various media from oils to etchings and has illustrated several children’s books. Over the years he has had one-man exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane and regularly participates in-group exhibitions throughout Australia. He has exhibited in the Wynne and Archibald prizes and his work is represented in Australian and overseas collections. This is Greg’s third solo exhibition at the gallery.  His work is usually colourful and often whimsical, with a twist of pseudo intellectual aestheticism. This he hopes is vaguely relevant today.

3 July - 27 July RECOLLECTIONS
“Recollections” an exhibition of recent and not so recent prints by the Southern Highlands Printmakers. In 1993 the Southern Highlands Printmakers (SHP) formed as a group aiming to foster printmaking within the region and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas. The Southern Highlands location is central to Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney which allows the artists access to urban experiences, enhancing and expanding their view as regional artists.

29 July - 29 Aug

THE BALD ARCHYS 2010
Irreverent, irrepressible, hilarious, satirical
The exhibition the man-in-the-street loves (and the arts snobs hate) – and the only exhibition in the world judged by a sulphur-crested cockatoo named Maude!

2 Sept – 16 Sept

Patrice Cooke
RECENT WORKS

I have always been fascinated by the natural world.  An exploration of the patterns and minutiae of plant and animal life form the inspirations for this exhibition.  I enjoy working alternately in clay and paint as the two mediums allow different forms of expression of a similar theme.

1 Oct - 27 Oct

Ros Goody
RECENT WORKS
“If you don’t do it, don’t paint it”. This bold statement sums up Ros Goody’s passionate attitude towards her work. Ros’ determination to live her art has driven her to saddle up with true blue cattlemen for weeks of hard mustering in the high country of Victoria and the dry plains of Queensland; it has also taken her to shearing sheds, rough rodeos and dozens of isolated farm stations in a bid to capture the essence of Australian rural life.
Born in the UK Ros now spends her time between England and Australia, painting and exhibiting in both countries. Ros Goody has been exhibiting in Bowral for the last fifteen years with her last show at the Milk Factory Gallery in October 2008.

28 Oct – 23 Nov

Richard Morecroft
NATURAL SELECTION
Richard Morecroft is perhaps best known for his work in television, but his photographs give a new perspective on the landscape, creating a sense of immersion in the environment. These vertical portraits explore the recurring patterns of the natural world, from detail to distance. This exhibition will help raise funds for WIRES, the Wildlife Information and Rescue Service.

27 Nov - 19 Dec

Annie Holcombe

"Hi, I’m Annie Holcombe and paint in the “Naive” style as you can see from the photos on this site. I hope when viewing my work you find it a colourful and uplifting experience. Busy now have to paint. See you in November at my exhibition" - Annie
